Thermovision in construction is a non-invasive diagnostic method that assesses the quality of building elements, with particular emphasis on thermal insulation. The standard scope of thermal imaging diagnostics includes testing the quality of insulation assembly – checking “difficult” places, the so-called thermal bridges. Generally speaking, it consists in observing the infrared radiation emitted by anybody with a temperature above zero and converting this radiation into an image – visible light. Thanks to this, it is easy to determine the distribution and values of temperatures in the tested object, and thus we can precisely determine whether the building fully meets the conditions of an energy-efficient building.
